The materials that we supplied from Maldives had transferred with our two dhonies. The items that we imported had discharged directly to the island. Because of the noncompetitive high prices and limited opportunities in the market all investors choose abroad markets rather than Maldives Market, like us. The distribution of material supply, taking zones into consideration, is mentioned below: 60% from abroad 25% from Male 4% from Thinadhoo 1% from Vaadhoo 8% from Gadhdhoo 1% from Foammulah 1% from Addhoo

2. Administration & Human Resources / Labor   Since we reached the peak numbers as employee we stopped recruitment. This month we hold up the employee number that constituted as senior staff team from Turks and Maldivian, masters from Maldivians and Indians and labors from Bangladeshis. Especially we hired skilled labors from Foummulah. Day by day we get accustomed to Maldivian working style and also they learn our company principles and system. At the end of the month the distribution of staff was as below.  In short:  7 prs Turkish  63 prs Maldivian  59 prs Indian  228 prs Bangladeshi  12 prs Burma 45 prs Subcontractor  3. Machines, Vehicles & Equipment  While the quantity of construction equipments and tools was getting longer day by day, we added one truck with crane to the list of heavy construction machines on the island. We covered the construction machines that we lost last month in an sea accident from Maldives.   Now on the island we have:  ‐ 2 Excavators (Kobelco SK200‐8)  ‐ 1 Excavator (Kobelco SK350)  ‐ 1 Loader (JCB 3DX)  ‐ 1 Crane ( Tadano 35ton)  ‐ 2 Tractors with trolleys (Tafe)  ‐ 1 Truck with crane(4ton) ‐ 1 Speed Boat (36 feet)  ‐ 1 Small Dhonni (36 feet)  ‐ 2 Cargo Dhonni (95 feet)  ‐ 1 Barge (81 feet x 27 feet)  ‐ 12 Concrete Mixers  ‐ 5 Generators  ‐ 2 Tough Riders (Tough Rider ‐2 ton)  ‐ 1 RO Plant (140m3/day)

4. Utility Section To eliminate the lack of time occurred from the graveyard problem we increased the staff quantity in this section. In this section there are Staff Accomodation and utility areas, Powerhouse, Desalination Plant and WWTP with Fuel and Water tanks. In this month we finished all concrete and masonry works on the 3 of 8 staff accommodation buildings as an addition to first 3rd group in the previous month. All exterior plastering was finished in this 3 buildings also. We finished concrete and masonry works on Powerhouse. On the third group of staff accommodations that we could not start previous months because of the graves, we finalized the concrete works of foundations and slab works still continues.

8. Infrastructure We started the plumbing and electrical works of buildings. We plan to start infrastructural site works on September.

 5. Difficulties Faced  Fortunately we passed a month with settled conditions when compare with the previous months.    6. Target Completion Date  As our construction program, we started permanent structures on 1st of March. We are planning to finalize the resort construction in fifteen months starting from this day provided that the problem of graveyard is solved on time. However we got a full solution after three months delay in this issue and this already create three months delay in our program. Now we work hard to cover this non‐productive time.   7. Other Issues  Rather than graveyard issue we have not faced with big problems and we created good relations with habitant islands which are close to our islands, such as Gadhdhoo, Vaadhoo, Foammulah with the help of the Atoll Council and Gadhdhoo Island Council. As a foreign company we give great importance to this issue.
