luor Daniel India Pvt. Ltd. is our regular supporter and sponsor of various Eye & Health Check up Camps under “Doctors at Fyour door step” project and has recently come forward in our

endeavor to strenghthen infrastructure of our hospitals by providing support for computerisation of our activities and introducing e-governance system under their CSR activity.

It was a matter of great pride that Mr. Torrence H. Robinson Senior Director Global Community Affairs& President, Flour Foundation visited our Hauz Rani Saket Hospital on 8thNovember, 2015 along with Mr. Naresh Jain Project Information Management and team of Fluor Cares.

He was given a warm welcome by Sh. Anil Jain Vice Chairman and Ms. Usha Kapoor CEO and Mr. Arun Jain

He was taken on a round of the hospital and was apprised of all the facilities provided in the hospital by CEO. He was deeply impressed by the quality and the standard of medical treatment being given to poor and the needy.

PPT Presentation was given by Sh. Anil Jain Vice-Chairman regarding the activities of Mahavir International and also apprised him the deep involvement of Fluor Daniel in our activities. Mr. Robinson was very impressed and he remarked that he has not yet come across any such NGO offering such high class free medical facility and aid. Later he was honored by Mr. Arun Jain, CAO and Mr. Naresh Jain by Ms. Usha Kapoor CEO.

Later he attended the camp sponsored by Flour Daniel. Mr. Robinson was impressed with the facility of free eye checkup and distribution of Medicines & Spectacles provided at the camp.

Mahavir International Delhi celebrates 'Eye Care Day' every year to bring all the stakeholders on a common platform. It is also a fund raising programme to finance char i table act iv i t ies

undertaken by us during the year. In the year 2016 Eye Care Day will be celebrated on 7th February at Civic Center auditorium. Mr Shailesh Lodha, the noted poet, satirist and TV actor (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame) will regale the audience with his multi faceted talent and contribute to the cause of removing blindness from the society. I invite all of you to be part of this celebration and participate in the programme. This is also an occasion to donate liberally and help the poor and disadvantaged section of society. I therefore request all of you to contribute generously by sponsoring the event and various activities, viz: Health Check up camps, cataract surgery etc. Let the New Year begin with charity.

Our organization has always been in forefront of extending help to the victims of natural calamities. In recent times we extended help to the victims in Uttarakhand and Nepal. Chennai center of Mahavir International organized the relief measures for the victims of rain and flood in Chennai to reduce the pain and sufferings of affected people. Our International President Vir Vijay Bapna ji made an appeal for support. Responding to the appeal, Mahavir International Delhi contributed Rs. One Lac.

We have received first donation of Rs. 25 lakhs for the Eye Care Day 2016 from one of our esteemed donor. We express our gratitude towards him for this support and gesture. I hope that we will get similar support from other contributors.

Prevalence of disability in our country is a very common phenomenon primarily due to lack of awareness, ignorance and non availability or high cost of medical facilities. To overcome such issues, spread awareness and provide treatment of best quality at no or affordable cost, NGOs like MAHAVIR INTERNATIONAL plays a vital role in the

society by providing free health care services with the objective to serve the needy and the sick by bringing happiness on their gloomy faces. Although India is fast developing economy, but economically weaker section of the society has been neglected massively in the past due to resource constraint at Govt. level.

The concept of NGO came up with reaching out to the poorest and weakest section of the society and aims at the process of nation building by social justice and equal opportunities.

Our organization carry vision of – “LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL” by making efforts to uplift the poor, moving ahead towards their happiness by providing them with good medical facilities, spread awareness and services to remote areas through camps and trying to address t the health problems of unreacheable poor and senior citizens. Our project 'DOCTOR AT DOOR STEP' has revolutionized the whole concept by organizing camps all over India to create awareness about Eye disease and to promote Eye Pledge and Eye Donation.

All the efforts made are based on Sponsorships, so any contributions you make are highly appreciated and for this Mahavir International Delhi like every year is organizing its Annual fund raising event 'Eye Care Day-2016' as 'HOPE FOR LIGHT' at Kedarnath Sahni Auditorium, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Center, Vivekanand Marg, New Delhi on Sunday, 7th February, 2015 by staging a Live in Concert by Sh.Shailesh Lodha (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Fame).
