Last week, Johan and a group of scouts decided to raise fund for their Annual Scouts’ Jamboree in “Kijang Camp”. The boys organised themselves into several groups. One of the groups went around the houses and washed cars and painted the fences.
Another group of scouts headed by Amin, trimmed the hedges and cleaned the compounds of the houses. They also went around and gathered old newspapers, bottles and cans. They sold the things they had collected at the recycling centre. All of them were happy because they had made some money and helped to keep the environment clean.
At the end of the week, the boy scouts counted 'the money they had raised. They were very delighted to find out that they had collected more than RM200.00. They were happy and hoped to take part in their Annual Scouts’ Jamboree.
