I would prefer to choose Adidas because it is the most popular shoes around and I think wearing it will greatly enhance my prestige. I believe that the shoes are of the highest quality and definitely it is worth buying. Normally, it would cost me more than RM50. However, with the shoes on offer, it is reasonably priced. I would consider buying a pair for my sports practice as I would get a free pair of socks. The MM Shoe Store near my house is having a sale. I would have the chance to choose the colour I want. It would be nice if a few of my friends wear the same brand of shoes for our sports practice.

I would prefer to choose the Bunga Raya Hotel because my family and I would find it comfortable. It is equipped with modern facilities such as air-conditioner, four beds, private bathroom and hot water shower. The hotel is located in Kuching City, so we could travel by taxi from the airport. We definitely would enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. On top of that, the hotel management is having a 20% discount promotion for the stay, so my father could save a lot of money. I would be able to ask him for more pocket money to buy souvenirs for my friends. I am looking forward to stay in Bunga Raya Hotel and enjoy my holidays in Kuching.

Last week, Johan and a group of scouts decided to raise fund for their Annual Scouts’ Jamboree in “Kijang Camp”. The boys organised themselves into several groups. One of the groups went around the houses and washed cars and painted the fences.

Another group of scouts headed by Amin, trimmed the hedges and cleaned the compounds of the houses. They also went around and gathered old newspapers, bottles and cans. They sold the things they had collected at the recycling centre. All of them were happy because they had made some money and helped to keep the environment clean.

At the end of the week, the boy scouts counted 'the money they had raised. They were very delighted to find out that they had collected more than RM200.00. They were happy and hoped to take part in their Annual Scouts’ Jamboree.
