CARDIOLOGY FELLOWS ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION(BY INVITATION ONLY)

Greetings and welcome to the 7th edition of the Serdang AMI conference 2016 (NAMIC). Due to overwhelming support from the medical and associated communities, this year we have achieved a milestone by organizing the first ever Asia Pacific edition of the Serdang AMI conference (APAMIC 2016).

We will to have a more extensive coverage with a wide range of topics intended to cover the important need in tackling the ever growing menace-The Acute Myocardial Infarction. With the official launch of MyStemi network in 2015 and the advent of Primary PCI network, there will be topics dedicated towards this for participants to develop a deeper understanding of the workings and and the aim of this network.

Apart from the standard cardiology topics, we will also integrate the other equally important yet perhaps less well known aspects of cardiology such as Cardiac Rehab, Nursing issue and also Pharmacological aspects related to AMI. We feel it imperative that all health care professionals and supporting staff to be exposed to various aspects in the recognition, management and treatment of AMI.

This year we have also invited the pharmacists and also topics on imaging to give participants an idea of the various diagnostics and treatment modalities available in managing a patient with AMI. We hope that by attending this conference you may be further enlightened and better equipped to handle cases of AMI in your daily practice.

Once again I wish to welcome all to this annual event and with your continuous support, we, in Serdang Cardiology will be able to continue this tradition of bringing you the most recent development in the world of cardiology.

In conjunction with the 7th National Acute Myocardial Infarction Course & 1st Asia Pacific Acute Myocardial Infarction Course organized by Persatuan Kardiologi Hospital Serdang, we would like to call for cases to be presented at our roundtable discussion and Cine session organized by Boston Scientific.

We are calling for interesting cases of Primary PCI/ Complex PCI of which only 4 will be selected for an oral presentation with prizes to be given away. A time of 10mins of oral presentation followed by 5mins of discussion with an expert panel will be allocated to selected cases.
