Main Image Ideas

I think this close-up shot of ‘Elly White’ works well as the focus is her makeup. The only problem I have with it is that I'm not sure what it would look like on the cover of a magazine because of the dull lighting.

I like the focus of the dress in this photo but I don’t think its very eye-catching and shows her off very much. This picture would be more suited in the double page spread on her if I choose to use it.

Like both of these photos, just not sure if they should be closer up. When putting my cover together I will see what these look like along with everything else.

This photo would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the light. I think it is too much and makes the picture appear a little bit blurry.

I love this photo as it is clear who is the focus. It focuses on her herself but also her dress and makeup. My only worry with it is that she isn't making sharp eye-contact with the reader so maybe it would be more suited to a page inside the magazine.

Like the unusual position she is in and like the fact all my cover stories could go down the left hand side and not get in the way of the photo.

Facial expressions read to me that she is bored, not right for the cover of my magazine.

I like the simplicity of this photo, but have not got eye contact which I need for my front cover.

Again I’m not sure about her facial expressions or in this photo her hair, but will still consider it as I like the camera angle.

Dull lighting and no eye-contact. I don’t like the fact that her eyes are not visible due to her fringe in the way and you cannot see her makeup.
