THERMOTHERAPYThermotherapy is the first procedure used in a treatment with the DermaCo Prounit. It is a warm disc applica0on that has many different therapeu0c proper0eswhen applied to the skins surface. The heat will increase the size of the bloodvessels, increasing blood flood and allowing the ac0ve ingredient used during theultra sound procedure to be distributed throughout the target area moreeffec0vely.

As well as increasing blood flow using a heat based treatment it will prepare thesurface skin for microdermabrasion by opening up the skin pores and making iteasier for the vacuum to exfoliate and cleanse the skin and aid the body to releaseharmful toxins. Thermotherapy can also be used to relieve pain, relax collagen0ssue, decrease joint s0ffness, relieve muscle spasms and reduce inflamma0on.

Using this warm disc applica0on it is a great way to introduce your clients to thenew DermaCo Pro system but it can also be incorporated into other treatmentsthat you already offer to your clients. CRYOTHERAPYCryotherapy is the use of low temperatures in the aesthe0c/medical industryand is the last treatment performed using the DermaCo Pro system. When theCryotherapy a1achment is applied to the skin’s surface it slows down the cellularmetabolism. Slowing down this absorp0on process allows the ac0ve ingredientsused during the Ultra Sound procedure more 0me to work within the targetarea.

Many treatment procedures like thermotherapy involve opening up surface skinpores helping with the infusion of product and aiding the skin to release harmfultoxins. The skin is the largest organ in the body and is vulnerable to theseharmful toxins so it is essen0al to close the pores a!er treatment to avoid anyfurther contamina0on. This is easily achieved using the Cryotherapy treatmentop0on.

Cryotherapy will create a soothing effect leaving your client feeling completelyrefreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated – a perfect end to any treatment.

DermaCo® Pro VX System

DIAMONDTIP ABRASIONMicrodermabrasion allows the therapist to perform mechanical exfolia0onbased on the safe and controlled removal of the epidermis, layer by layer,without the use of messy (and expensive) crystals. Instead the Diamond Tipabrasion method uses various size heads which allow the therapist to treat alltarget areas, even around the eyes.

There are 3 types of abrasive p:� High Grade (100) - sun damaged, tough, thick and leathery skin� Medium Grade (200) - average skin tone and texture� Low Grade (250) - To be used on so!, thin and bri1le skin.

Performing Diamond Tip abrasion using your DermaCo Pro system is quick andpainless and will rejuvenate and regenerate your client’s skin. Following themoderate removal of the top layers of the epidermis there will be a period ofincreased growth of new skin cells. The new cells will travel outwards andreplace the old dead cells that have been removed bymicrodermabrasion.

Most crystal based therapy leaves the client with tender skin as the treatmentcan be very harsh on the sensi0ve Base layer. With the DermaCo Pro exfolia0onis a gradual process and there is no risk of deep, unequal exfolia0on or scarring.

ULTRASOUNDUltrasound has been used for cosme0c purposes since the early 1980‘s becauseof its therapeu0c proper0es and great results. Small doses of Ultrasound canpromote the synthesis of protein inside the cells, help to regenerate wounded0ssues and promote the synthesis of fibre cells in the body. The acceleratedmetabolism of the cells changes the pH level of the skin to a more alkalinecondi0on and facilitates the absorp0on of any induced products.

When using the DermaCo Pro system you are offering your clients the most upto date treatment procedure available in the UK. The Ultrasound a1achmentsvibrate at 1-3 million 0mes per second (MHz) to create fric0onal heat that willpenetrate through the dermal layers of the skin quickly and easily. This warmingand hea0ng ac0on is one of the most important therapeu0c factors ofUltrasound. It is a kind of internal heat that is carried away by the bloodcircula0on and is not felt by the client.

Ultrasound helps to expand the space in which the cells exist, causing movementof cytoplasm, the rota0on of mitochondria and the vibra0on of the cell nucleus.This in turn will s0mulate and expand the cell membrane, improve bloodcircula0on, relax muscles and aid in the breakdown of fa1y deposits, reducingthe appearance of cellulite. Ultrasound will also s0mulate the skin 0ssueincreasing cell regenera0on, collagen produc0on and the removal of fine linesand wrinkles.

More importantly Ultrasound will penetrate through the skin to the deepestlayers, changing various cellular proper0es. When it comes into contact with acell the cell membrane becomes temporarily permeable allowing specific typesof nutrients to be absorbed. This procedure ensures that the ac0ve ingredienthas been transported deep into the dermis and has effec0vely gone straight tothe root of the problem so that the client receives the full benefit of the product.

DermaCo® Pro VX System

MICROCURRENTMicro-current Therapy was developed over 20 years ago and was originally amedical treatment to re-educate weakened facial muscles in stroke victimsand those who have suffered Bells Palsy. Micro-current has been adapted bythe beauty industry to give beauty therapists the ability to offer clients acourse of treatments that would effectively tone and firm facial muscle fibre.It is a safe and painless treatment procedure that rejuvenates the skin; givingthe clients more healthy looking contours and making them look muchyounger. After just one treatment there will be a noticeable lift but, dependingon the client’s individual skin tone and muscle resistance levels, results canoften be very dramatic.

An initial consultation is required with the client to assess their individual bodymake up. Following this, the client should complete a course of ten treatmentsspread over a 3-4 week period, after which she will inevitably look "10 YearsYounger". To maintain this new lifted and toned appearance the client shouldthen have one treatment per month to maintain their new youthfulappearance.

The DermaCo Pro unit uses Micro-current to reduce the appearance of fine linesand wrinkles on the skin’s surface. The Micro-current emits a very 0ny amountof electrical current that, applied to the skins surface, pushes through the dermallayers of the skin 0ssue and penetrates the muscles beneath. When the currentcomes into contact with the muscle it re-educates the muscle fibres by using anintermi1ent electrical current (Faradic) that is biologically compa0ble with thebody’s own natural electrical energy – some0mes referred to as “chi.” Thesemuscle fibres contract and relax achieving an incredible end result leaving theclient’s skin li!ed and toned.

Because the applica0on of Micro-current is sub-sensory there is no pain.Although some clients may feel a slight 0ngling sensa0on normally they will onlyfeel the probes and the pressure of muscles being manipulated.

LED LIGHTTHERAPYWithin our skin we have many different receptors that when stimulated havean immediate effect on our body. Some receptors respond to touch whilstothers respond to various colour light. An example of the effect light has onour skin is seen in skin cancer patients. When the UV Rays penetrate our skinand come into contact with our light receptors various problems can occur.Using this basic knowledge of light, many organisations like NASA haveconducted research and development into how other colours from the lightspectrum would effect our skin in a positive way.

The DermaCo Pro Unit has the ability to use LED Light Therapy to treat yourclients. This Technology is incredibly advanced and when used correctly canachieve outstanding results that cannot be beaten.

The DermaCo Pro unit uses 4 main types of light, RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW.
