• Safety is deeply anchored in Vestas’ DNA, it is an

since we believe that all hazards can be managed

• In 2005 Vestas commenced multiple wide-ranging safety

initiatives and detailed injury tracking systems to assure

proactive safety

• Lost time injuries (LTI) have been reduced at an average

rate of 28% every year from 2005 to 2016

• Today Vestas reports 1,5 lost time injuries per one million

working hours (2015)

• The new measure of Total Recordable Injuries (TRI) has

been introduced in 2011, covering a broader range of
