Major assumptions/observations for declaration of TTC/ATC for Apr’18 to Jan’19 issued on 05.01.2018

1. Revised commissioning schedules of major inter-regional lines considered for

calculation of TTC/ATC values are as given below:

Sl. No. Month Commissioning of Major Transmission Corridor

A Feb 2018

Jabalpur – Orai 765kV D/c line

LILO of Satna – Gwalior 765kV S/c line at Orai

Orai – Orai (UP) 400kV D/c line

Orai – Aligarh 765kV D/c line

LILO of Kanpur – Jhatikara 765kV S/c line at Aligarh

B Mar 2018 Removal of 400kV bay constraints at Vemagiri

LILO of Agra – Meerut 765kV S/c line at Aligarh

C Jun 2018 Upgradation of ±800KV HVDC Bipole between

Champa Pooling Station - Kurukshetra line to 6000MW (Pole-III: 1500MW)

D Dec 2018 Upgradation of ±800KV HVDC Bipole between

Champa Pooling Station - Kurukshetra line to 6000MW (Pole-IV: 1500MW)

2. The TTC values have been calculated based on presently envisaged

schedules of various transmission lines / generation projects. TTC on various

inter-regional corridors is subject to change with change in commissioning

schedule of various transmission elements.

3. The limit of various 765kV Inter-regional corridors between WR & NR has

been considered as 3000MW under n-1 condition after commissioning of

Jabalpur – Orai – Aligarh 765kV D/c corridor between WR & NR. Limit of

Aurangabad – Solapur – Raichur 765kV corridor has been considered as

2750MW per circuit under N-1 contingency. Limit of all other 765kV lines has

been considered as 2500MW under N-1 contingency. The loading limits of all

the 400kV lines are the thermal limits.
