Major Requirements Students may earn a BA in Comparative Literature (40 units/10 courses) by pursing one of two tracks (all courses offered 4 units unless otherwise indicated): Literature/Media/Critical Thought Track Foreign Language Track This track offers students the opportunity to pursue a major that is broadly based in the liberal arts by allowing students to concrete in one area (example, emphasis in critical thought) while taking courses in the other areas. This track incorporates the study of at least one literature in a foreign language into the comparative perspective. Students who intend to pursue a graduate degree in either comparative literature or a foreign literature are strongly advised to choose this track, as are students who already process advanced skills in a language other than English. Literature/Media/Critical Thought Track Foreign Language Track
