Make a Harmony Day Paper Doll Chain page 1

Preparation: • Print the A4 page containing the Harmony Day characters (a boy and girl character is provided).

• Photocopy the required amount (enlarge if necessary).

Instructions: 1. Cut along the solid line border.

2. Fold the strip of paper into quarters, concertina-style along the vertical lines (see diagram). The

image of the character should be at the front with the folded sections behind.

3. Carefully, keeping the folds in place, cut out the character along the dotted lines.

4. Decorate the paper doll chain. Use the spaces provided at the bottom of the chain to write special

Harmony Day messages.

5. Collect all of the decorated paper doll chains and join them together to create a single class

Harmony Day paper doll chain for classroom display.
