We take the stress out of party planning! As one of Townsville’s top attractions and now with Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous, the Museum of Tropical Queensland offers a birthday party experience to remember!

Your guests can not only get up close and personal with the dinosaurs but enjoy all the modern and interactive exhibitions that the Museum has to offer. During Dinosaur Discovery, we offer access to a private party room where kids and adults can sit down to celebrate with party food and prehistoric fun (minimum 10 kids).

Beau the Butterfly

Book a special appearance by Beau the Butterfly. Beau will spend time having photos, play a game and interact with the group. Beau will hand out special Beau temporary tattoos and is a hit with kids from all ages.

Terms and Conditions

1. Confirmation of booking must be made in writing.

2. Cheques are to be made payable to The Museum of Tropical Queensland. Major credit cards or cash are accepted.

3. The Museum of Tropical Queensland does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods on the premises prior to, during or after the event.

4. Final confirmation of guest numbers is required seven (7) days prior to the event and full payment is required at this time.

5. Notice of Cancellation: We require written notice if the client wishes to cancel or postpone an event. A 100% refund will be given if cancellation is made before seven (7) days of the event. Please note: cancellation less than seven (7) days prior to the event will incur a 30% surcharge.

6. Prices: All prices listed include GST where applicable. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change without notice.

7. The Museum of Tropical Queensland Tour Conditions:

(a) Please note for your safety and to meet health and safety regulations, enclosed footwear must be worn for tours;

(b) Every effort will be made to re-book late arrivals for tour bookings at a later time. No refunds or deferments to another day are available.

8. Parents, carers and siblings are welcome to join the event, however admission fees apply.

9. Parents are permitted to collect children in the Museum after the event without paying admission.

The information requested allows us to provide you with up-to-date information including products, events and special offers.
