disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:17). This is the call on God’s forerunners today.

Donna shared wonderful, unforgettable testimonies of miracles in her ministry and in her dad’s.

Keith Wheeler returned for a second message as well, challenging us to know “Whose Image Do We Reflect?” Since there is fulness of joy in the Presence of the Lord, and Jesus was anointed with the oil of gladness, do our faces carry the smile that shows the joy of the Lord?

He told us of how a group of young people was challenged to tell what does commitment look like? One answer after another came like: “Commitment looks like a wedding band — endless and priceless.” And finally the answer was distilled down to “Commitment looks like the object it’s committed to.”

Moses was committed to his relationship with God and when he came down from being in the mountain with God, his face glowed. Stephen’s face glowed like an angel while he was being stoned. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Co. 4:6). It’s time for us to have a heart “makeover” that will cause us to shine with the image of Him Who saved us out of darkness! Of course Keith’s message was illustrated over and over with glorious testimonies of lives he has seen transformed as he has shared the happy news of Jesus Christ in nation after nation as a “pilgrim of peace” carrying the cross as a symbol of reconciliation.

The final message of the Camp Meeting was given by Sister Gwen: “A Tale of Two Queens and Two Kings.”

She emphasized the importance of getting into the mount with God like Moses did, so that we may obtain the Heavenly pattern for what God wants to build in our lives. Then we must be sure to build according to the pattern we have been shown in the mount. We must not take for granted that we will be a success, but like Paul, we must not be disobedient to the Heavenly vision.

She compared Queen Vashti, who refused to obey when she was summoned by the king (because she was busy doing her own thing), to Queen Esther who was willing to lay down her preferences and who went to the king unsummoned, risking her life to save the lives of her people.

She also compared the two farmer boys whom Samuel anointed as kings in Israel: Saul, the “cowboy” and David, the shepherd. They both made mistakes, but one tried to hide them in his pride and disobedience and the other repented and gave God glory.

What will happen in the next year and how will we live? Make your “house inspection” with a searchlight before the Lord sends His messenger to you! Be sure that you can say you have built according to the pattern!

And I will use the old birds, saith the Lord, the old birds who know My ways still, and the ways of the Spirit. They shall gather up these parts and they shall bring, and fly them in their beaks and they shall place into place all of these thatches that are missing in the roof, saith the Lord, so that the roof will not be lost, so that the House will not be destroyed. For they know My ways in the higher planes for they are My leadership of yesterday and they still know Me and walk with Me. And I will use them, saith the Lord, to gather up, to gather up the straw, to gather up all that is needed in order for this thatching to be completed and in place again.

And the Lord says, and I will shine the windows of the Spirit that the people that are within shall be able to look out and see the vision of the Lord. There shall be a new vision given to My Church, new revelation given to My Church. For there shall be things happening that have never happened in My Church before, saith the Lord. God Fought for Israel YThe following is an article that was found in Papa

Jim’s archives. It was on mimeograph paper with notes in his handwriting that said, “From Peyton Woodruff 21-06-70 Wow!” We do not know the author.

It is 40 years since the Six-Day War. In the interim, the Sinai Peninsula was returned to Egypt and now a new generation is defending Israel (probably the grandchildren of these soldiers). May we be inspired once again to pray for God’s Land and People to look to Him with hope and trust to deliver them from the hatred of their enemies.

In 1948 when the nations began the fight against the new state of Israel, with the declared purpose of driving every Jewish man, woman and child into the sea, God sent legions of angels, and the enemy was defeated. The same thing applied to the Six-Day war of 1967. This was more threatening than the one of 1948. This war was so important that the singing prophet Asaph recorded the vision in the 83rd Psalm. The prophet names the nations, prophesies the conferences to which they assembled their goal and their means. Because it was their aim to destroy Israel so that she would not be remembered and because God guaranteed the eternal nature of Israel in His covenant and His promises, Asaph asked God to intervene and do with Israel’s enemies as He did in the days of old.

The chief army chaplain of the Israeli army, Aluf Shlomo Goren, drew up a prayer which the Israeli soldiers were to recite before they went to battle. This prayer is based on Deut. 20:3-4, Ps. 35:1-2, Ps. 83:2-3, 14-18 and Ps. 60:13-14. According to God’s Word, the armies of all the allied enemies were beaten, Israel won a brilliant victory, and the Old City of Jerusalem was freed after she had been trodden down by the nations. Now she is united with the new state. The land reaches from the Suez Canal to the Jordan, and to Quneitra in Syria. Our soldiers returned from the battlefields like new men, and told of the miracles which they had seen with their own eyes. Here are just a few reports.

“One soldier reported that his company was com-pletely surrounded on the Sinai peninsula by Egyptian solders. They were all afraid, took cover behind sandbags, and awaited death. Suddenly someone appeared in white raiment close to their position. Everyone saw him. After a few seconds, he disappeared. The Egyptians fled as fast as they could. The shooting stopped. None of his

soldiers was injured. This soldier, who was an infidel, is since then a zealous believer who strongly believes and witnesses to the existence of God and that he and

his comrades were saved from certain death by a miracle.” (Mount Zion Reporter, July, 1967).

An apparition in shining white clothes was seen hovering over an Israeli regiment, with his arms extended sideways. As one arm was lowered fire descended on the right side, and as the other arm was lowered, fire descended on the left side and in this way all the enemy tanks were burnt up.

A strong unit of Egyptian tanks attacked several hundred Israeli tanks near the border. A further unit of enemy tanks attacked from the other side. The Israeli forces were surrounded on all sides. Suddenly fire fell from heaven and destroyed the enemy tanks, first on the one side and then on the other. This miracle preserved Israel from falling into the hands of the enemy.

Hundreds of tanks and trucks simply did not come into action. A high percentage of Egyptian fighter-planes were not ready to fight as the war broke out. Egyptian radar did not function properly; sometimes the air-raid alarm was not heard until the Israeli airplanes were already returning after having bombed the airport. Sometimes the all-clear alarm was sounded as Israeli airplanes were still attacking and the Egyptian anti-aircraft units were still shooting.

Most of these reports have been taken from the Mount Zion Reporter, which is a monthly Christian newspaper in Jerusalem.

Here is a report from Meir Simcha Goldberg, Tel Aviv, to a journalist of the monthly journal Bet Yaacob.

“One day a soldier covered in perspiration hurriedly came into my shop looking for something he needed for the position he was holding near Sharm-el-Sheik.”

“Oh,” I said as I stretched out my hand in recognition, “you must be one of the heroes of Sharm-el-Sheik?”

The soldier was shocked, “Me, a hero? You listen to me while I tell you the truth. I am not a pious man, but if anyone tried to tell me that there is no God, I would spit in his face.”

With interest I asked, “Have you come to this conclusion since being in Sharm-el-Sheik?”

“Exactly! Listen while I tell you of my experience. Together with another soldier I parachuted into the
