A corporate film can be defined as audio-visual material that is often used by a company for promotional or training purposes. They are a great way to increase a business’ reach. Businesses can contract with a third party company that specializes in making corporate movies. Making these films involves certain stages. These stages have been briefly explained below.

Pre-ProductionThis stage includes planning, script writing and listing equipment needed to making the movie. Budgetary considerations are also taken care of in this stage. Businesses need to cast artists or actors that may be required. Rehearsals should be organized to remove any errors and make minor changes.

ProductionThe production stage includes the actual shooting processes required to make a corporate movie. Setting up lights, sound and camera equipment; managing casts, props, etc., are some of the factors involved in the film production processes. Most of the responsibilities during production are managed by the film’s producer and director.

Post-ProductionIn the production phase, the film is shot in a raw form. It then needs to be edited and fine-tuned. These activities are

completed in the post-production phase. This stage mainly includes processes such as video and audio editing, sound dubbing, voice over, managing graphics, etc. If any music tracks are required in the corporate film, they are added in

this phase.
