The OT students of SSU conducted a (APAB) survey for SSU South Campus Short Term Recommendations Give students requiring handicapped parking an access card to the faculty lot. Create a cut-away in the curb and shorten wooden guardrail so that the sidewalk through the faculty lot is accessible from the student handicapped parking spaces. Install an intercom or phone to call the appropriate person(s) to operate the elevator lift, both at top and bottom of the stairs where the lift is located. All elevators in south campus should have obstacle detecting sensors. Fill cracks and holes on all ramps. Allow students to access and park in the upper lot. Long Term Recommendations Install ramp at the main entrance, equipped with button- operated doors. Remove the two stairs and add a ramp on the sidewalk side of the faculty parking lot.
