Multi-day training events are great, but in today’s face moving, results orientated businesses and with the flow of information so much wider and faster we find regular bite-sized sessions a really powerful way of supporting behavioural change.

1

“Having spent a lot of my career delivering multi-day training events, over the last few years it has become clearer that organisations find that this is a luxury that is difficult to justify unless they are seeing a huge return on their investment. It plays out in the training room too, with people wanting to constantly check messages, emails and remain ‘at work’ whilst trying to learn new techniques and approaches. It doesn’t always add up.” Says Mike Ponting the founder of Making the Link Ltd.

Making the Link is a boutique training company with International connections, they pride themselves on working closely with customers to help them deliver business improvement. In it’s tenth year of operation projects have included keynote speeches, conference sessions, training events, team development events, strategy workshops, and executive coaching using Emotional Intelligence tools and Mindfulness techniques.

We help individuals, teams and businesses develop performance using the latest thinking from the fields of Emotional intelligence and business skills training, to ensure that their success is sustainable in the long term. If you are experiencing a higher than normal turnover of staff, stress related illnesses and absence due to performance pressure, we are here to help. Our approach to each client reflects the challenges they face and delivers truly customized solutions.

2

For Making the Link one thing is really clear, people’s attention spans are shorter. Training and development options need to pack a good punch and be 100% relevant for those attending.
