Although Malawi is landlocked, its largest lake (Lake Nyasa) is 580 km long, the 9th largest lake in the world, and has more species of fish than any other lake on Earth.
Ms. Msowoya comes from the town of Mzuzu where she teaches public school, is the department head, and manages the institutional research. During her Humphrey year, she is looking forward to studying educational administration and policy in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the
education system in Malawi and improving its role in economic development.
