objectives of the institutions:
The main objective of the Institution is to empower
women through Academic, co-curricular and extra-
curricular activities such as,
Increased student participation in programmes which
help them to bring out their creativity, build
confidence level and inculcating leadership qualities.
Group discussions, classroom seminars and
interaction sessions which helps to enhance
communication skills.
Poster-presentation, Model making, Exhibitions by
Hobby club, activities by NSS unit and quiz
competitions are organized to inculcate team spirit.
Weeklong activities by Commerce Forum, Cultural
programmes are specially organized to showcase the
students’ talent.

3. Innovations in curricular design and
transaction :
The University of Mysore designs the curriculum
with the help of expert groups in which senior teachers
of our college are involved. Innovative methods such as
Comparative Analysis, Pictorial Representation, Power
Point Presentations, Text-based quiz, conducting viva
etc., are the methods used to enrich the curriculum.

Admin-software has been installed and the entire
administration has been computerized.
Admission Process.
A committee comprising the Principal and staff
members takes the responsibility of student selection.
Students for B.A and B.Com courses are directly admitted
on the basis of their performance in the previous
qualifying exam. Representation is given to all categories
as per Government norms.

Power Point Presentation in the class rooms and up-
gradation of college website.

The Parent-teachers meeting plays an important role
in supporting the curricular and extra-curricular
activities. Feedback is obtained and suggestions are
incorporated.

31. Health services: Dr. Usha, consultant physician visits periodically to
create awareness about general health and also conducts
health checkup.
32. Performance in sports activities: Kum. Hamsaveni.K.R, has secured the first place in
juniors National Tenni-Coit Championship-2016, held
from 03-02-2017 to 06-02-2017 in Hyderabad.
Kum. Mythili and team has secured the first place in
Shuttle Badminton and Teeni-Coit Competitions
organized by Mysore University Chamundi Zone on
26-09-2016.
Kum. Mythili, has won the first prize in Tenni-Coit
competition organized by Mysore University Inter-
Collegiate Women’s Sports Meet held form 20-02-
2017 to 23-02-2017.

Cash incentives are given by the Management to
outstanding students in sports and felicitated on their
achievements.

organized by inviting Resource Persons from
various fields of Education, Business and Civil
Administration.

Guidance Cell are,
18-08-2016, a seminar on “Modern Accounting
Skills”.
31-08-2016, a seminar on “Certified Financial
Planning”.
04-02-2017, a special lecture programme was
organized on “Career Building in Aviation
Companies”.

Exam was conducted in our college by ALS
(Alternative Learning System) India’s largest IAS
coaching network.
b) The Counseling Cell of our college has
provided assistance and support in times of
hardship and distress.
11-03-2017, our students attended the “Career
Guidance Programme” organized in Mysuru by Logic
School of Management, Bengaluru.

On 3rd and 4th October, 2016, our students
participated in the National Level Management Fest
organized by SDM-IMD, B School, Mysuru.
On 22nd and 23rd February, 2017, our college
students participated in 2 day Inter-collegiate
National Level Management Fest organized by
Kautilya First Grade College, Mysuru.
On 6th and 7th March, 2017, our college students
participated in 2 day Management Fest organized
by JSS College for Women, Mysuru and got First
Prize with a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 5000/-
On 10th March, 2017, “Indian Muntjac” was adopted
from Mysuru Zoo for one year.
On 20th, March, 2017, A workshop was conducted on
“Verbal and Mathematics” by BYJU’s classes,
Bengaluru.
NSS unit of our college conducts week-end activities
and annual camp.

On 19th, September, 2016, Kum. Shreevarshini, has
participated in Classical Music Competition
conducted by SDM College and won the consolation
prize.
On 17th January, 2017, 155th Jayanthi of Swami
Vivekananda was celebrated.
On 4th February, 2017, our students participated in
“Soundarya Lahari Parayana” organized at KSOU
ground, Mysuru.
21-02-2017, Kum. Daniya Aksa and Kum. Roja.N
have participated in English and Kannada essay
competition on “Demonetization” conducted by
Cauvery First Grade College and won second and
third prize respectively.
11-03-2017, Kum. Thoi Takhellambam and Kum.
Souparnika have participated in paper presentation
competition on “The Tempest” and “The Issue of
Colour”, and also won second and third prize
