Top Torque is a torque booster that improves efficiency in long-haul transport especially when the topography is challenging.

Top Torque is only available with the D26 engine and TipMatic gearbox. Power Train Manager4 (PTM4) increases engine torque by 200Nm in gears 11 and 12. The driver can stay in higher gear for longer, reducing the number of down shifts saving fuel and reducing journey time.
