which can be measured in terms research - funded research projects sanctioned by

the Government bodies such as Department of Science & Technology (DST) and

Union Grants Commission (UGC) and Journal publications indexed by Elsevier's

Scopus. The institute was successful is its pursuit which is evident from the uptrend

in research publications when compared from 2014-15 to 2015-16.

In view of the rapid growth that the institute has experienced over the past

couple of years, it has become imperative to expand the infrastructure at an equal or

a faster pace. In lines with the need, the institute has spent considerable resources

in terms of setting up the necessary IT infrastructure to enable seamless and

efficient operations through automated processes which were realized through in-

The quality consciousness and continuous monitoring has aided for excellent

consistent course completion of the students. For UG students the course

completion is maintained above 80 percent, for PG it should above 90-100 percent

which is because of effective teaching learning mechanisms.

One of the key performances metric for any organization during a phase of rapid

growth is the standardization in the quality of the services offered in the face of

increasing scale. The institute has kept up the quality of teaching throughout the

growth phase as a result the student strength has reached 4,087. This could be

achieved with the introduction of new and innovative monitoring mechanisms such

as real-time auditing of teacher performances and automatic analysis of results.

interacts with the industrial experts to understand the deficiencies in the academics

thus creating a road map for developing student in general and developing the

nation in particular. For some theoretical contents, where establishment of labs is

not feasible, the institute takes help of many industries in and around like:

    1) For High-Voltage Labs, the institute works with JNTUK, Kakinada

    2) For communication, tracking and navigation related areas; the institute is working

    with NSTL

    3) For real time application of cloud computing concepts, the institute is working

    with Microsoft

    4) The institution is working with GE and Boeing to let the faculty understand the

    advanced applications in aircraft engines

The above associations with industry and research bodies, benefit the faculty and

students greatly, it is also reflected in the placement results. Students are also

trained to hone their employability skills through regular campus recruitment

training (CRT) programs by renowned academicians and professional trainers from

the industry. The department of training and placement constantly endeavours
