Employee Self-Service Employees can process personal information, benefit, and
life event changes directly through Workday Employees can import professional profile information
(education, skills, job history) from LinkedIn
Benefits Adding/Removing beneficiaries for benefits can be done
directly through Workday Links to 3rd party vendors are provided directly in
Workday for supporting documentation (i.e. Westlake) All retirement information will be housed in Lincoln, which
can be accessed directly through Workday via single sign-on
Biometric credit will no longer appear as an earning on the pay-slip
Will appear as a pre-tax credit towards benefit cost

Summary of Changes - Payroll Employee Self-Service
Employees can process W-4, direct deposit, and address changes directly through Workday
Pay (bi-weekly, off-cycle, bonus, incentive) Employees can no longer split election TYPES (i.e. direct
deposit AND check) Expense, one-time, and other bonus payments will be paid
the same way as the bi-weekly pay (direct deposit/live check)
Off-cycle/non-pay checks (i.e. missed hours) will be only be paid on Friday, and will be paid the same way as the bi-weekly pay
Supplemental pay ("bonuses") will be taxed at 25% (AIP/TRP)

The check stub ("pay-slip") will look different Hours will be reported as "regular" unless they are paid at

Viewing Your Pay-slip Explanations
Payslip Number Earning Code Description Explanation
Regular
The total of all hours paid at your base hourly rate,regardless of when they were worked. This includes:• Day• Regular Hourly• Evening• Morning• Light Duty• Q-Time• Shared Decision Making
PTO
Scheduled hours that have been paid out of accrued Paid Leave time. This includes:• Paid Leave• Advanced Paid Leave• Holiday Cash out (VNA)• Scheduled Leave (VNA)
Unscheduled PTO
Unscheduled hours that have been paid out of accrued Paid Leave time. This includes:• Unplanned Leave• PTO Unscheduled Nursing Visits (VNA)• PTO Unscheduled Therapy Visits (VNA)• Unscheduled Leave (VNA)
Education
This earning includes all hours related to education, including:• Inservice• Outside Education•Inservice/Meeting (VNA)
Details Not Displayed
This line item appears on the printed payslip only. It totals all other earnings that have been paid or deductions that have been taken that cannot be displayed on the one page printed payslip. If you view your payslip online, all earnings and deductions will be displayed. Should you need a printed version with all earnings and deductions displayed, you can click the small printer icon in the top right corner of your online payslip.
• The "Accrued" column reflects your bi-weekly accruals for Paid Time Off and Disability. • The "Reduced" column will always appear with a zero value, regardless of whether or not you have taken Paid Time Off or Disability leave during the pay period. This information is available within your Kronos Employee Self-Service. • The "Available" column reflects your available Paid Time Off and Disability Leave Accruals as of the close of the pay period that is included on the payslip.
Kronos will always be the source of truth for the most up to date information.
GTL Imputed Income
Previously, this line item appeared as both an earning and a deduction, was coded as "Imputed." This is a non-cash earning that is required for the value of the employer-provided group term life insurance over $50,000. In Workday, imputed income does not appear as either an earning or a deduction, but is included as an employer-paid benefit.
