13. Facilities

Laboratories

The college has fully equipped laboratories required as per the norms of the University of

Pune and All India Council of Technical Education, (AICTE) New Delhi. Sophisticated

laboratories like the Software Labs, Hardware Labs, Wind Tunnel Laboratory, Precision

Survey Laboratory, Microprocessor Laboratory, Chemical Processing Laboratories etc.

have been fully equipped and are constantly upgraded. The open door policies adopted by

the laboratories enable students to develop self-reliance under the supervised guidance of

expert teachers. The workshop of the college is established on modem lines and in addition

to meet curricular requirements is capable of undertaking production jobs for the needs of

the college and for sister institutions.

Library

The college has a full-fledged computerized library having over 35000 number of books.

The library subscribes to various National and International technical Journals.

College has introduced Book Bank Scheme which enables the students to get good text book for the

entire period of the term and they are tempted to use additional reference books from the library

availing usual library facilities DELNET membership, through which students can assess 300 various

libraries throughout the country.

9 units e-Journals are available for Students.

Hostel

Hostel accommodation is available to all girl students and more than 600 boys in the campus.

It is well equipped with all modern amenities like solar water heater,STD booth, reading room, cyber

café,emergency lighting system (Generators).

Boys Hostels

-Aryabhatta Hostel

-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hostel.

Boys hostels have two separate, spacious, three storied buildings with a total capacity of 650 seats

and well-furnished dining halls.

A team consisting of a chief Rector, and Assistant Rectors supervises the hostels. The Assistant

Rectors stay with the students in the hostels.

Hostels have recreation facilities like T.V., Indoor Games, Reading Rooms etc.

An ultra-Modern separate spacious building complex with a capacity of 369 seats having an attached

dining hall is available for girl students.

A Lady Rector assisted by Assistant Rectors looks after the ladies hostels.

The Assistant Rectors stay with the students in the hostel.

Security of girls students is maintained on top priority.

A lady Doctor visits hostel dally to take health care of girls student.
