Dear Parents and Carers

It was a lovely start to the week and it felt as if spring had finally arrived.

We’re ending the week on St David’s Day – Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus to

our Welsh families.

This week I had the pleasure of joining several classes to watch the

teaching and learning in action. I was very impressed with all the children in Year 4 –

presenting two sides of an argument with detailed reasons for and against.

A big thank you to Mrs Morecock for her swift response to the very unpleasant Momo

issue. I hope parents found the information sheet helpful.

Finally, congratulations to Mrs Stonehill (formerly Miss Bates!). Mrs Whitehead

150 nearly new folders available!

Available from the school office first come first served.

A donation to the PTA would be gratefully received.

Lunchtime Supervisor

vacancy

We currently have a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisor.

The role fits very well with those who enjoy working with

children and would like to work for a few hours during the

school day.

Fire Officers visit Year 4

In Year 4 we had the Fire Officers in from Sutton fire station to talk to the children about fire safety.

The children were all interested and asking lots of questions about a range of scenarios.

The children found it really interesting and found out important information that can be shared at home.

Mrs Fullard

Congratulations to
