Mango Calendula Green Tea Recipe
We all have heard the many benefits of green tea, now here’s a refreshing recipe
for you.
When sweetened with mango delicate teas like the mango calendula make
refreshing afternoon fruity drinks. Dried calendula flower is a variety of marigolds,
which is easily available in health food stores. Add honey after steeping if you
wish to bring out the fruity flavor.
Ingredients
1/2 hard mango
1 piece gingerroot
1 cup green tea leaves
2 1/2 tbsp crumbled dried calendula flower
Preparation
Peel the mango making thick slices. Leave theses pieces on racks and let dry at
room temperature until brittle, it takes about a day. After the leaves are
thoroughly dry cut this dried mango into small pieces.
In large bowl, mix together dried mango, ginger, green tea leaves and dried
calendula. Spoon and store it into a decorative bag or an airtight jar. This mixture
makes about 25 servings.
