The Diagnostic Laboratory in the hospital fulfills a longstanding need for a well equipped laboratory capable of providing a complete range of investigations in the areas of Microbiology, Immunology, Haematology, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, and Cytopathology. The laboratory is the first hospital based laboratory in India to get the prestigious accreditation by the NABL. The Department functions 24 hours a day, with emphasis on accuracy, precision, reproducibility and prompt reporting.

�The Molecular Pathology Unit is equipped with a variety of molecular assays including real-time PCR that helps in better, faster and precise diagnosis and support for transplantation services in the form of HLA typing and cross matching.

�Comprehensive testing for TORCH panel, hepatitis panel, complete HW work-up from ELISA to CD4 counts and viral load.
