Manual of Tahasil Accounts (MTA)

Manual of Tahasil Accounts (MTA) is a step forward to digitize all the Ledgers and Registers of RI Offices

and simplify the payment as well as collection mechanism at RI Offices through introduction of Online

payments by citizens. Towards this, Tenant Ledger updation is taken up as a very initial step so that

updated demands could be finalized and it will later facilitate the citizens for online payment of their

current demands. Ultimately this will make the entire payment and collection process at the RI Offices

completely transparent, accountable and citizen friendly. The Demo URL to access MTA for practice is

http://164.100.140.81/mta Demo User Id : 2003-ri1 with the same password

(I) Updation of Tenant Ledger

(i) When the above URL is accessed, the following screen will come. The RI

needs to enter his User ID and password. Currently to practice the flow,

demo user Id and password to be used.

(ii) Here the given Demo User Id and password to be entered to login into the

system

(iii) After RI successfully logs in, the following screen shot will appear.

(iv) Here the RI will select the financial year, village name and khata no. Then the

names of the Recorded Tenants will be appeared. After this, RI will enter the

details of Water Tax, Rent, Cess and Nistar Cess for specific years. The

bhulekh entry with respect to these Revenue types will also be displayed

along with current demand column (in an editable format ) for reference.

Finally after entering data for the various Revenue types, the “Save” button is clicked to

save the data.

(v) RIs can view the checklist village wise on clicking the “Check list” from the

left Menu. Here after selecting Financial year and village, the checklist will be

generated for data verification and will appear as below;
