    110,000 lost-time hand injuries annually

    Of the workers experiencing these injuries, 70% were not wearinggloves and 30% were wearing the wrong glove for their application.

    Median of 6 days away from work for hand/finger injuries.

    Sixty-two percent of hand injuries recorded by the Bureau of LaborStatistics are due to cuts and punctures.

    Of hand injury cases involving days away from work, 47% are due tocuts.

    Financial cost of these injuries is more than $300 million per year inlost production time, medical expenses and worker compensation.
