Dear Friends,

Traveling is a wonderful way to gain new perspectives while focusing on

the important aspects of life–family, friends and growth experiences.

The success of any trip is as much about the journey as it is about the

destination. Planning and preparation is what can make a good trip

great.

CHRISTUS Spohn is on a journey and the destination is a transformation

of healthcare delivery which addresses the reality of today’s increasing

demand, nursing and physician shortages and fewer dollars for

providing care. CHRISTUS Spohn is committed to a PATH (People and

Actions Transforming Healthcare) that will lead to better health, better

healthcare and lower costs for South Texans.

As donors dedicated to CHRISTUS Spohn’s healing ministry, our gifts

will help them get there. Donor support helps pave the path by

providing advanced equipment and technology, nursing education

and certification opportunities and new programs and facilities. This

annual report tells the story of the people, businesses and foundations

who share this passion. They are the pathfinders–lighting the way for a

successful journey along this vital, transformational path.
