Hatboro-Horsham MAR District Event - 2016 Competition Season
Welcome to the Hatboro-Horsham MAR District Competition. We are excited and
anxious to have so many great teams coming to the competition this year. We hope
that every team had a successful build season and are ready for an enthralling
competition season.
This guide should have the majority of information that teams require for the
competition. In the event there are special circumstances or issues arise please contact

Venue Regulations
Please:
Do not bring outside food into the venue
Do not use noisy devices, such as whistles, clap sticks or air horns
Do not save seats. It is not fair to other teams or to public guests we hope to
interest as volunteers, sponsors or participants.
Do not run in the venue.
Wear safety glasses in designated areas
Do not wear open toed shoes

4:00 PM Pits open to teams
Please do not arrive before 3:45 pm as no team members will be permitted to enter
the building
All teams must register at Pit Administration upon entering the building
5:30 PM Field opens for Meausrement and Camera Calibration
Teams will be notified by event staff when the field is ready. This is at the discretion
of the FIRST Technical Advisor (FTA)
7:00 PM Filler Line Practice Matches
Teams cannot particiapte in practice Matches without passing initial inspection
9:00 PM Practice Matches End | Robot Connection ONLY
All teams must connect to the field with their Robot by the end of the evening on
Friday. Robot will be permitted to establish a field connection without passing full
inspection only after 9:00 PM
10:00 PM Pits Close to Teams
7:30 AM Venue opens to Volunteers and Teams
Teams will be permitted in the Cafeteria ONLY (NO PIT ACCESS)
8:00 AM Pits open to teams
8:30 AM Practice Rounds
Robots must be fully inspected to participate in Practice Rounds
10:30 AM Opening Ceremonies
All Participants are to report to the competition gym for opening ceremonies
11:00 AM Qualification Rounds Begin
1:00 PM Field Lunch Break
Teams are highly encouraged to pre-order lunches and eat when convenient for the
team
2:00 PM Qualification Rounds Resume
** The last qualification match will be number 54. Pits will remain open until 8:00
pm or a half hour after the last qualification match ends, whichever is later
8:00 PM** Pits Close to Teams
