• Since 1972, Marbach has dedicated research and development into identifying the best dieboard materials for steel rule die manufacturing. In addition to the traditional wood die, Marbach provides a variety of die base solutions specific to the project run length & budget.

Process Detail- Cutting Solutions

• Over 10 years ago, Marbach introduced the mpower cutting rule to the market. The mpowercutting rule is part of a 3 component process to decrease make-ready times, provide greater cutting rule life, and eliminate dusting/angel hair.

• In addition to the mpower, Marbach offers its customer a variety of cutting rule specific to the substrate type and laminated process (poly, foil, etc).

Process Detail- Embossing

• At Marbach, we design & produce our own embossing and stamping plates. This allows us to completely control the process and work directly with our customers on solutions.

– We provide embossing solutions specific to the production run and budget.

– Foil Stamping solutions for use on site or sourced to our customers’ stamping partners.

Process Detail- Braille Solutions

• According to the EU Directive, almost every pharmaceutical package has to be produced with Braille in Europe. Since 2005, Marbach has supplied the market with low cost Braille solutions in combination with minimum make-ready times as well as perfect Braille embossing results.

Process Detail- Dynamic Stripping

• Dynamic Stripping: The process by which waste is removed by reducing or eliminating the need for bottom pins.

– For over 15 years, the MarbaStrip has been adapted to the customer and market requirements. The MarbaStripis produced using our patented stripping claws with hardened tips.

Process Detail- Blanking Solutions

• At Marbach, we not only provide our customers with blanking tools, we provide them with the necessary solutions to maximize their press performance. In today’s market, production runs vary and traditionally not all projects are considered for blanking. Utilizing our patented products, the range of blanking parameters is increased.

– Marbach provides its customers with customized blanking solutions based upon the length and repeatability.
