parishioner, relatively new to the parish,
home from school, or visiting for the

chosen to worship here at St. Louis
Catholic Church. As Roman Catholics, the
Holy Eucharist is the center of our lives,
and the source or our mission.

justice, and foster life-long formation in

Second Collection This weekend, March 11th & 12th,
there will be a second collection for Aid
to the Church in Eastern Europe.
Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for
parents who are having their first child
Baptized. The next class will be offered
on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:00pm in
the Deanery Resource Center at St.
Louis. Please call the parish office to
register 934-3204.
Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be
held on Sunday, April 2nd, from 9:00am
to 12:15pm in the Deanery Resource
Center at St. Louis. There is a $40.00
fee for books and materials. For
reservations call 934-4054 or 934-3338.
St. Louis Cardinal Crawl 5K Saturday, April 8th—Race Day
registration begins at 8:00am; 5KRun/
Walk starts at 9:00am. $10/person;
$35/family if registering on or before
March 10th. The fee increases to $15/
person; $40/family if registering after
March 10th. Registration forms are
available in the parish or school office.

St. Louis Bereavement Luncheon Committee Thank you to the Bereavement Luncheon Committee Members for the donations of
food and time over the previous years. We couldn't provide the luncheons with out
a lot of help!
If you have not been contacted in the last 6 months, and would like to help with
the luncheons, please contact us! Perhaps the number we have for you is
incorrect! We always need new members to prepare a salad or dessert, or help to
serve the meal for the funeral luncheons.

Please Pray for Our Confirmation and First Communion Candidates Our second graders will be making their First Communion on May 7th, and our
eighth graders will be Confirmed on May 21st . Please keep those children in your
prayers as they prepare for their sacraments. Paper flames and chalices with the
children’s names are in baskets at the Church exits. Please pick up a flame and
chalice as a reminder to pray for these children.
40 Days for Life The 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign to save lives begins Ash Wednesday and
continues through Palm Sunday. Your help is needed! St. Louis Church has
signed up for Saturday March 25th from 7:00am-7:00pm to be a witness for life.
We need as many people as possible to be present at the Planned Parenthood
facility on Auburn Ave. in Cincinnati for a prayerful vigil. Those not able to attend,
please pray at home for the intentions of the campaign. For more information,

Scholarship Information Father Herculan Scholarship Available to any 8th grade student who will be attending a Catholic High School.
Essay due to the Parish Office by April 14th.
Criteria for the essay:
1. How have you given of your time,
talent, and treasure to St. Louis Parish and to the community?
2. Explain your financial assistance need.

Scholarship Available to any St. Louis parishioner who will be entering the 9th through 12th grade
for the 2017-2018 school year and wants to continue his or her Catholic education at
Oldenburg Academy or who is currently attending Oldenburg Academy. Applications are
available in the OA website. Due: April 3rd.
Batesville K of C Council #1461 Scholarships Applications are available at the K of C Hall on Delaware Road, the St. Louis School
Office or Parish Office. Applications need to be returned to the K of C Hall or
postmarked no later than April 1st.

Seasons of Hope—A Group for the Bereaved If you’re in need of consolation after losing a loved one, this Christ-Centered faith
