Dear People of St. Patrick,

This weekend we celebrate our Patron Saint, St. Patrick. This year in particular, our parish has so much to be proud of. Yes, we all work together to make things happen, we are generous to God and the Church and we try to provide for the needs of those in our community. First of all, we thank God for the success of our parish. We also thank St. Patrick and ask him to intercede to God for us and, it looks like St Patrick is doing his job. On the back page of this bulletin, you will find the Financial End of the Year Report for 2014. This report is always audited by the Diocese. As you can see, we were able to reach our budget goal and have a surplus. The surplus and all reserve funds are deposited with the Diocese of Oakland and they involve a parish savings and a depreciation account so that we will have the funds to do paving, painting, roof repairs, plumbing replacement, etc. Remember, some of our buildings go back to 1954. We have reached the Diocesan Capital Campaign goal and gone over by 112%. We have reached 144% of the Bishop Appeal. Our Catholic school has the only nursery to service the needs of our families. Our school has full enrollment and the Faith Formation and youth programs continue to grow and provide for the needs of our youth. We have many organizations in our parish like, St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Young Ladies Institute, etc. We have our own parish organizations that help our spiritual growth. On Tuesday, St Patrick Parish will welcome Bishop Barber, S.J., to his first visit to the parish. Bishop Barber will also administer the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 23. The last Bishop to administer Confirmation was Bishop Allen H. Vigneron in 2007. Dear St. Patrick, we the faithful and loyal sons and daughters of the Catholic church, thank you for your intercession, love and support of our little, country parish in the Diocese of Oakland. Please continue to pray for us.

God Bless, Fr. Larry Young Pastor
