Happy March! I grew up in the Midwest and when March
came along there was a saying that if March came in like a
lion it would go out like a lamb. Of course, this was refer-
ring to the weather. As followers of Jesus, we view the lion
and the lamb a little differently. We know that the lamb is
Jesus who came as a sacrifice for all. Yet, he is also the
conquering King which is how we often view the
Lion. When we think of the lion and the lamb, we are
waiting for the day when the lion will lay down with the
lamb, when the King of all Kings will come and make all
things right. So during this Lenten season, I hope and pray
that you are also waiting in expectation for the lion to lay
down with the lamb.
A couple of things that are coming up in March, S.O.S.
Respite day on Saturday, March 21. To register go to

great opportunity for special needs kids of all ages and their
siblings to have a day of fun and activities while mom and
dad get a day off.
