North Carolina will once again be a presidential battleground, but the March 15 primary matters locally too. Because no Republicans have filed, the primary is your only opportunity to cast a ballot in the Orange County Board of Commissioners race. Additionally, the Chamber has endorsed the Connect NC bond and is counting on you to vote YES to invest.

YOUR GUIDE TO THE PRIMARY:• Check your voter registration: enr.ncsbe.gov/ voter_search_public/ • Check the new rules: voterid.nc.gov • Vote early (March 3-12) OR vote March 15 – polls are open 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. • Check your polling location: enr.ncsbe.gov/ pollingplace_search/

“Formulating and delivering solutions.” That’s what Luke Graysmith has been doing for nearly two decades as president of Polaris IT Solutions. Polaris IT specializes in cloud solutions (and migrations) in addition to computer support in order to help make your company more profitable. Their clients are from a wide span of sectors and include Chamber members Charles Carver CPA and Chapel Hill Training-Outreach Project, Inc., in addition to the Chamber itself. Chamber President

and CEO Aaron Nelson wrote recently, “Luke Graysmith of Polaris ITS has successfully managed the Chamber’s technology infrastructure for 15 years and has always kept us running and never let us down. From handhelds to desktops, servers, routers and wireless networks, he has ably coached and counseled us, installing new equipment and repairing hardware as it aged. Most importantly, he has kept us up and running and responded to emergencies day or night, weekday or weekend. If things go bad, I am 100% confident he can fix them. We are grateful for his service to and partnership with the Chamber.” Learn more about Polaris IT Solutions and what they can do for your business at polarisits.com.

We’re going back to Cuba! Last year, we had a sold-out trip where 32 people from our community had the opportunity to experience Cuba. Now we’re ready to do it again! The trip, starting at $3,995, includes airfare from RDU, meals, and ground transport. Book now to travel with the Chamber to Cuba, October 4-10. Space is limited and will sell out quickly. Learn more and book today at carolinachamber.org/travel. Don’t Miss the Election this March!
