Status:• Working with the Platts-mouth WWTF and Crab Orchard’s WWTF in their
recovery efforts• NDEE made state revolving loan funds available to affect-ed communities.
Update from Sept. 8
• Boyd County Rural Water District #2 has installed a new trans-mission line and it has been placed into service. Water samples from all three systems, which in-clude a rural system and the villages of Lynch and Spencer, will be collect-ed to confirm the ab-sence of coliform bacte-ria before removing the boil-water advisory.
