1 Conferences: THANK YOU for your flexibility with conferences in February! Mother Nature gave us a surprise and we had to adjust! It was great to see so many of you here checking in on your children’s progress! If you were not able to attend conferences, please contact one of your child’s teachers and arrange a time to meet! Thank you, too, to the Robinson PTSO for provid- ing a delicious lunch from Panera during conferences! We appreciate your thoughtfulness! State Assessments: State Assessments will begin when we return from Spring Break! At con- ferences, teachers shared a calendar of assessment dates for each students. ASP NewsRobinson families - the Y Strong kids campaign, ASP & Mrs. Terrye would like to thank every-

one that contributed to the fundraiser. We reached our goal!!The winner for the pie in the face contest is Ms Falvey & Kelsey, they will receive their reward

at the staff vs. student basketball game on Thursday, March 7th!

Congrats to Sharon Sun who won the Prep. Division of the Kansas StringTeachers Association Competition last week! She got to perform her solo for thestrings teachers luncheon on Friday, as well as won a cash prize!

The Robinson Chess team participated the last chess tournament in Wichita forthis season at Holy Cross on Saturday, February 23rd.

A total of 7 Robinson students competed in the K-8 division, they did a great joband won the 2nd place as a team. They are Sydni Hoover, Charlotte Bostock,Lana Shaheen, Avalyn Ngo, Ethan Lau, Bo Lu and Jolyn Garza. (Pictured left toright).

The chess team is going to the State tournament at Emporia, KS on March 9th!

Congrats to Que’dun E.! He was Robinson’s 99% Award Winnerand was recognized by the BOE during a formal ceremony!

6th Grade News

Dear 6th Grade Families -

As the beginning of the fourth nine weeks approaches, we know how challenging itcan be to keep kids focused. Therefore, the 6th Grade Team will be taking an incen-tive based field trip to at the end of May. The cost is approximately $13 per stu-dent to cover bus and entrance fees. Students will be encouraged to exhibitCHARGE behaviors, so they can participate in our field trip by having two or lessbehavior referrals to the office. More information to come later.
