    ANNIE ARMSTRONG

North American Mission Board Church Planter and Missionary,Pastor Bill Johnson, will be our Annie Armstrong Easter speaker

    on Sunday evening March 30th.

The Annie Armstrong Easter offering will be received Sunday,April 13th. Our church goal for this year is $7500.

We want to welcome Miss Kathy Dugan to our churchMinistry team. Kathy will fill the position vacated by VirginiaSmiths retirement. Kathy has been a member of First Baptist

Church since 1985 and resides in Colquitt, Ga. She has been ourSunday School Secretary for many years. WELCOME Kathy!

This Sunday evening we will have our Annie ArmstrongOffering for North American Missions kick off. Bill Johnson, church planter from Atlanta, Georgia, will be our guest in the eve-ning service. I look forward to not only hearing about what is go-ing on in North American Missions but also a challenge as to howwe can be involved here in our own state. Come and hear his pres-entation.

I know that next week starts Spring Break for our countyschools. I also realize with the time change, ball season, boatingseason and travel season upon us, we normally see a drop in bothattendance and giving during these critical times of the year. Please remember your commitment to the Lord with your tithes and

offerings. Also, dont forget to put just a little bit more in thanusual to catch up on the shortfall we are experiencing. I would loveto skip this reminder, and could, if you remain faithful in your giv-ing.

Thank You, Sydney Harrell for your preaching last Sun-

day night. It is wonderful to see God moving in our youth and col-lege students. And thank you to our youth and youth leadershipfor leading in our service last Sunday evening.

I cant wait to see what God is going to do this Sunday at

First Baptist Church. See you Sunday.

PRAISE TEAMOur Praise team did a wonderful job leading us in musicin both the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services last Sunday.Often, our worship leaders make personal sacrifices to

prepare music to share. Trips are delayed, late night re-hearsals take time away from family and spouses, not tomention the personal expenses of ordering and purchas-ing the music and tracks to share. Thanks to Toby Ro-land, the guitarist in the Praise Team who played flaw-lessly last week, in spite of the fact that he had to wipe

blood from his badly cut finger. Thats commitment!

SHOCKWAVESHOCKWAVE, our awesome Youth Choir did a great

job leading us in worship Sunday night. The testimoniesof Ty Jones, Macey Roland, Cole Buchanan and CarahJones were especially moving. We appreciate our teensand their leaders for making a difference and reaching theworld for Christ. (Note: NO SHOCKWAVE MAR 30th.)

HANDBELLSWe still have openings for ringers in our group. Ask mehow you can discover if ministering through our BellChoir is for you.

FELLOWSHIP CLUBMeets Monday, April 7. A special local guest, NOSEY

NORA will tickle our funny bones with her witty churchhumor that day. Bring a friend, your food and anotherfriend.
