The Capital City Christian office has received many requests, asking how people can help as our community confronts the COVID-19 outbreak.

One of the greatest needs in Jefferson City at this time is food assistance for families out of work and with children now staying home from school.

If you can help, we encourage you to donate to one of the organizations providing food security in our community.

The Samaritan Center Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable food items, and hygiene products.

Drop off donations at:1310 E McCarty Street

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri operates both the Buddy Pack Program, providing food to in need school age children, as well as the VIP Veteran Pack program, feeding vulnerable veterans.

The Food Bank also provides many of the goods distributed by the Jefferson City Salvation Army food pantry.

The Food Bank needs financial donations to field the increased needs at this time.
