The She rid an Theatr e space and dine r i s ba sed off Edward

Hoppers paintings which are set in Greenwich Village in the 1940s. This

area of New York Cityattacted experimental theatre tha t broke traditional

conventions. My space challenges the relati onship between the audience

and the actors. The 3 stages of the theatre are visable from the street as

wel l a s i nsi de the theatr e space and h ave the opt ion of usi ng rot ati on as a

    method of communication.

state of society today, through the nternet

    everything has become accessible.

Oxford&GreensGreens&Oxford is a space desi gned to bring COFA students together and

create a close community. Unlike UNSW main campus, COFA lacks the three

main hubs of community bonding; an exercise space, a bar and a space for

UNSW funtions. These spaces are surrounded by grass and are wheelchai r

accesible via a ramp and elevator. The space has the capacity to hold over

100 people. The main feature of the space is the interaction between the

outdoor gym and the bar. When the motion senses i n the gym detect

movement, the artwork nooks in the bar are lit up by spotlights. This

creates interest in the space, particuarly as there is a regular

hangeover of artworks by COFA students.

come to understand the importance of tak ing my skills from one area

into another. The asthetic of the magazine i s minimalistic in its colour

OgaloMy choosen company to redesign was Ogalo. Ogalo is a Portuguese style fast

food franchise that is based in Australia. Founded in 2006 they have been rapidly

expanding their company to 16 locations over Sydney alone. In their vision

statement, the key themes of authenticity, health and family-owned are raised.

None of these themes are currently elucidated in their visual identity. I focused

on the theme of Authenticity as it will stand out amongst competition and create

loyalty in customers. Another strategy to ensure customer loyalty is using a ctional

ambassador as my logo. Her expression is welcoming and reects my theme of

authenticity and is relatable to the customer. My design appeals to a wide market,

particularly those, both male and female from the age of 20-30. At this age many

people are on a budget but still prefer an authentic and enjoyable experience when

grabbing a quick meal. In the process of the assessment I focused on using

traditional materials such as ink and charcoal to further my theme of authenticity.

    Sea Rise

Sea Riseis a 5-star dining experience for Sydney Siders to understand the long term

consequences of ocean warming. The exhibition will be located in the cafe and sculp-

ture garden at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydne. There are two components of

the exhibition. First is the dining experience. Through the use of a phone application the

customer will be able to use augmented reality and view the long term effects of ocean

warming in pictures and video overlaid different dishes to create an illusion. Each meal

represents a different time in the future. (Entree is 20years and dessert is 50 years.) Each

will be followed with infographics about each consequence and how it can be avoidedand the option to share their picture or video on social media (touching on the current

trend with taking photos of food.)

The second component of the exhibition is the ground of the sculpture garden which

will be an interactive coral bed made up of large scale touch screen devices. Over the

course of the exhibition the coral will become bleached the more people step or touch the

screens. My overall objective for the exhibition is the change peoples actions now to avoid

the long term consequences of ocean warming.
