MyOcean will “deliver regular and systematic reference information (processed data,
elaborated products) on the state of the oceans and regional seas: at the resolution required by intermediate users & downstream service
providers, of known quality and accuracy, for the global and European regional seas.”

2 categories of MyOcean users: Reference Intermediate Users
(RIU: 28 national agencies, plus ECMWF). Direct participation to the project. Existing experience with OO products : ready to deliver detailed requirements
7 EU and IG agencies: EEA, EMSA, HELCOM, OSPAR, UNEP/MAP, ICES, (ECMWF). Contributing to the project through “interface” partners.
Members of the Core Users Group (CUG) together with representatives of RIU, together with downstream projects and national systems
