When it comes to selecting the correct cardboard box for your products, there are some important aspects that you should take into consideration when making your decision. Making an incorrect choice of box can lead to an increased risk of damaging your goods, degrading the presentation of

your items and increase cost to your business.

Box Dimensions Selecting the correct size of cardboard box is vital. You should measure the length, width and height of your item or product carefully, and choose a box that is able to accommodate these measurements with minimal excess. It is important to note that measurements given in our catalogue are always the internal box measurements and are written in the order of Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H)

Box Strength

Box strength is an important consideration for protecting your products or items, the most important specification to take into account is whether the box is single wall with just 1 layer of fluting, or double wall with 2 layers of fluting. Double walled cardboard boxes are generally stronger and more rigid, however, total wall thickness should be considered.

Box Style

Cardboard boxes are most commonly seen in the FEFCO style 0201, this style uses flaps at the top and bottom of the box that may be taped together once assembled. Various styles of cardboard box are available, including removable lids, hinged lids and self erecting cartons.

Printing / Labelling / Notices

Boxes often require special information, such as those containing especially fragile items. This can be achieved by bespoke printing on the box, however, printed tapes and labels with either custom or standard notices (such as Fragile – Handle with care) are often a more affordable solution that can be applied to any box.

Palletainers provide a cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to wooden and metal crates. The heavy-duty lightweight material decreases the weight of the load reducing your shipping costs and carbon emissions. Palletainers are designed to fit all standard pallet sizes or they can be made bespoke to your requirements.

Double wall board grade, to hold a large volume of products. Can be reused depending upon the nature of contents. Optional features, such as wooden posts, can be added enabling palletainers to be stacked five high. Palletainers can easily be disposed of and are 100% recyclable.

Single face corrugated is mostly used as inner packaging to separate and protect individual products inside the outer packaging.

It is highly flexible and can be shaped around products to cushion and protect them from damage. Supplied in rolls, it can be used for protecting small, large or irregular shaped products. 100% recyclable and made from a renewable resource, single face corrugated is an environmentally friendly alternative to bubble wrap or polystyrene loose fill.

Flexible and economical, our cardboard edge protectors can safeguard, stabilise and reinforce palletised loads in transit and storage. They’re also used to provide additional protection inside and outside of cartons.

Made from compressed recycled material, cardboard edge protectors provide an economical and environmentally friendly method of improving stability, reducing stretch film damage and protecting goods from accidental corner and edge impact.

Place between layers of product for protection and to disburse weight. Pads are sized to fit the most commonly used box sizes. Top layering protects products when box is being cut open. Cardboard sheets are made from 100% degradable and recyclable high quality material.

Trio 100

Odourless SanitiserA concentrated, odourless, bactericidal

cleaner that is ideal for daily disinfection in the food industry. Kills 99.999% of

bacteria (tested to BS EN 1276. Effective against MRSA, Salmonella, E.coli and other

bacteria. Trio 100 cleans all hard surfaces safely. Use on a regular basis for cleaning

and disinfecting work surfaces , equipment, tanks, floors, walls, delivery vehicles,

A powerful bactericidal cleaner and degreaser, which passes BS EN

ONA Liquid

ONA Blocks are a fast and easy way to fight against odours at their source in small sized areas. Simply open and expose to the air or remove the block from its container. The lifetime of the ONA Block will vary but it will be effective for about 4 weeks relative to the airflow and environment around the block.

ONA Liquid is an odour neutraliser in liquid form. Add to a sprayer or dilute in water and use as a wash. The components in ONA liquid are environmentally friendly and non toxic - meaning they are safe to use around people, pets and plants.

The ONA molecules in ONA liquid will react with any odourous molecules they come into contact with and render them null and inert, removing the smell from the air permanently. Whether the ONA liquid is sprayed in the air or washed in fabric, the chemistry remains the same and offers guaranteed odour removal.

Open the lid and leave the ONA Gel to naturally evaporate for as long as the odour is present, occasionally shaking the jar to agitate the contents. Alternatively, a reduced amount of ONA Gel can be put into a smaller vessel and left until it has evaporated before topping up with more gel, thereby regulating the lifetime of the gel.
