In 2009, TOBACCO received the prestige recognition for a leading brand in Macedonia by the international organization Superbrands. The Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, introduced since 2004 and certified in accordance with the standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, confirms the determination of the company for running business professionally and focusing on the promotion and the improvement of the work and environment quality. In 2010, TOBACCO established the company MK Insurance, a joint stock company for representation in insurance and started selling insurance policies. In 2011, the company enlarged its portfolio of services by developing its own electronic system for payment of bills for overhead costs from various operators as well as the electronic system for production, distribution and sale of tickets for various events. In 2011, TOBACCO became an exclusive representative and distributor of JAKE candies for Macedonia. Recent Developments In 2011, 9 new retail places were opened, by which the number of salons and kiosks on the entire territory of Macedonia increased to 54.

The brand MK Insurance is created in 2010. Under this brand, all kinds of policies for non-life insurance issued by Sava Osiguruvanje are sold, 24 hours 7 days a week, in the TOBACCO retail networks.

The brand PLATI SMETKA represents an electronic service that provides payment of bills for overhead costs. The logo resembles a smiley face and communicates what it feels like to PAY BILLS

(PLATI SMETKA) in TOBACCO retail networks – in pleasant ambience, with kind personnel behind which stands a company with long-term tradition and reputation.

The brand BILETI represents an electronic service that provides sale of

tickets from one database. The logo resembles an eye in full frontal view – an eye that watchfully monitors all cultural-artistic, sports and other events. The pupil of the eye is represented with a triangle, a generally accepted sign for PLAY which is related to the slogan – Buy tickets and let the fun begin!

The TOBACCO’s brands are mostly promoted through the available advertising places in the company’s retail network, in over 50 locations throughout Macedonia, on attractive spots in the central areas. The advertisement is seen by over 50.000 buyers who shop in TOBACCO retail networks every day.

Since 2009, the company publishes its own catalogue Together which today can be found in almost any home throughout Macedonia.
