Responsible for the marketing of refined petroleum products to local and international markets, this core business segment primarily supplies ENOC Lubricants, ENOC Aviation fuel and liquefied petroleum gas to local and international markets. Retail: ENOC Retail operates a network of 166 ENOC and EPPCO service stations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Supply, Trading, Processing: One of the most important functions of this business segment is to meet systems supplies and lend support to affiliate companies under the ENOC umbrella. Its plants and refineries process condensate or light crude oil for various petroleum products, both for local and export markets. Through its offices in London and Singapore the Supply, Trading, and Processing segment ensures active participation in proprietary trading activities for all petroleum products and crude oils in key international markets. Terminals: This business segment consists of infrastructure and logistics investments through wholly owned and joint venture companies. Through its network of Horizon Terminals, located in the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Korea, Djibouti and Morocco ENOC aims to become one of the leading global terminal service providers in the oil, petrochemical and other bulk liquid sectors. Other Group operations include car maintenance with “Fix Plus”, repair, vehicles testing and registration in a joint venture with Road Transport Authority. Tasjeel is a joint venture between ENOC and the Government of Dubai. It is the pioneer private vehicle testing and registration service in the UAE and has sites spread all over Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

AutoPro was launched in response to the UAE’s fast growing automotive population need for good quality after sales providers. The services cover small to large cars and include preventive maintenance, brakes servicing, air-conditioner repair, suspension and clutch replacement, electrical work and tyre sales. It provides professional, reliable and value for money preventative maintenance and repair programmes: all within a clean, modern, comfortable and easily accessible environment.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTSCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a core purpose and value at ENOC. All companies are committed to upholding the highest CSR standards while conducting business and are encouraged to give back to the community. ENOC aims to inspire people to engage, develop and learn to build a healthy, educated and socially-responsible community.Community Development: TarabuT is an employee engagement programme that incentivises employees for their active participation in CSR activities. Employees have raised funds for people affected by natural disasters in other countries, given free First Aid training to the public and held community activities for children with special needs.

ENOC conducts several concerted public welfare campaigns throughout the year, particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan. It also supports the Dubai Government’s campaigns, such as promoting road safety and preventing drug abuse.

Emirates Gas (EMGAS) provides 300 disadvantaged families with free LPG refills every year during the Holy Month of Ramadan. In partnership with Dubai Municipality, EMGAS also spreads LPG safety awareness among the public through free seminars in local communities, schools, and even in labour camps in Dubai. It also holds simulated emergency trainings on LPG truck roll-over for Dubai Police and Civil Defence.

Education: ENOC’s Challenge programme, in partnership with the Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre and the Community Development Authority enrolls special needs individuals in a seven-month comprehensive training programme at ENOC Headquarters. The programme aims to strengthen participants’ career skills, offers them the opportunity to find employment and be effectively integrated into society.

Masiraty, another key ENOC CSR activity, is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs to train UAE nationals living on welfare on workplace skills and fosters their potential for job opportunities. Environment: ENOC has opened its first ‘green service station’ in The Greens neighbourhood in Emirates Hills in Dubai. The green station has advanced technological devices to contain petrol fumes released at the pump and a variety of other state-of-the-art systems, including solar-powered lighting, a ‘waterless’ car-washing system, new waste segregation systems, and design upgrades to reduce noise pollution.

Another CSR initiative of ENOC is Tadweer, a laptop recycling project in partnership with the Dubai Municipality, and a part of the company’s efforts to promote a greener Dubai through recycling.

The company also undertakes emergency response workshops, conducts environmental competitions among school children to raise awareness among the future generation, and annually takes part in the Clean Up the UAE campaign. Workplace: ENOC has established various workplace CSR activities like training programmes. ENOC’s National Development Programme, Tatweer, recently opened a dedicated technical training centre to nurture Emirati nationals for skilled jobs, while Mawaheb and Ajyal are exclusive managerial and leadership training programmes for UAE nationals.

ENOC also set up an ENOC Wellness and Social Programme to foster a sense of belonging within the ENOC family and promote social interaction outside the office. Its activities include regular sports and yoga classes, ENOC Olympics, family-day events, and a Book and Film Club.
