X-Torq.A good example of a solution that not only benefits the user, but also the environment is our low-emission engines with the X-Torq. It is a technology developed for two-stroke engines and provides a more powerful engine, 20 % lower fuel consumption and a drop in emissions by up to 75 %, compared with conventional two-stroke technology. Good for the environment and good for the user.

DEX.Another solution is DEX, our newly developed dust handling system, which effectively minimizes the amount of dust particles around the user. DEX also includes a new electric water tank, so you don’t need to pump water manually.

Good ergonomics for better productivity.Working with heavy machines is strenuous on the body. This is why we develop machines that are easier to use. Machines with low vibration levels, ergonomic handles and well-positioned controls, facilitating the day-to-day work of construction workers worldwide.

2010 Marketing Plan.For 2010 we continue our focus on product development, product training and brand-building marketing, especially on our website. The marketing plan contains new products and features, a complete overview of our machine and tool range and a presentation of our extensive marketing and sales support material.

Our new power cutter, the Husqvarna K 760, has been developed from the best-seller K 750. The low-emission X-Torq engine gives the K 760 more power while significantly reducing environmental impacts.

In 2010 we’re launching a completely new line of power cutters: the Husqvarna K 760, K 970 and K 1260. These machines have more know-how and experience built into their design than any other cutters on the market. Features include the new Active Air Filtration™, one of the market’s most efficient centrifugal air cleaning systems, SmartCarb™, the built-in automatic filter compensation, Poly-V belt and a highly-efficient vibration dampening system. The Husqvarna K 760 and K 970 also feature engines with X-Torq, which produces higher power levels but at the same time greatly reduced emissions, DuraStarter™, a dust-sealed starter delivering enhanced reliability and product life, and unusually easy starts, thanks to Air Purge and a decompression valve. The K 970 also has a soft grip on the rear handle, providing better holding power for the hand and when using your leg for support. The Husqvarna K 1260, putting out an impressive 5.8 kW, is one of the most powerful cutters on the market.

The new Active Air Filtration™ is one of the most efficient air filtration systems on the market, delivering operational times (dry cutting) of about one year, with no filter service required.

The X-Torq engine technology reduces emissions by 75 % and fuel consumption by 20 %, compared to a conventional two-stroke engine.

DuraStarter™ is a patented design with a dust-sealed starter and a durable starter cord, which reduce the risk of downtime and increase reliability and product life.

Efficient vibration dampening system minimises vibrations (less than 5 m /s²), enabling long periods of operation without operator fatigue.

The Husqvarna WCV 180 features the unique Vario system, which allows you to adjust the groove width without removing the blades. The machine is delivered in a sturdy transport box with a hook wrench and Husqvarna diamond blades.

Husqvarna WCV 180.The Husqvarna WCV 180 is an efficient, innovative wall chaser cutter, for making slots and joints in stone, brick and concrete.

Husqvarna KV 760 and KV 970 / 1260.Compact cutting trolleys, developed specifically for the Husqvarna K 760, K 970 and K 1260. The quick mounts make it easy to install the cutter on the trolleys and efficient control of cutting depth facilitates adjustment. The wheels are laterally adjustable, so you can cut close to walls and curbs. The trolleys are easy to fold up and transport, and are supplied complete with 15-litres water tank.

Husqvarna K 760 Cut-n-Break.Has double, specially developed blades. Saws through walls up to 400 mm thick.

Husqvarna K 970 Ring.Has a cutting depth of 260 mm, twice that of a traditional cutter blade.

Husqvarna K 970 Chain.Makes 390 mm deep cuts from one side. Can make openings as small as 11×11 cm. Ideal for irregularly shaped openings.

Husqvarna DXR 250.The Husqvarna DXR 250 has the same contemporary, functional design and intelligent features as the DXR 310. Its fixed arm makes it light, stable and compact – ideal for operation in cramped spaces like basements. Comes standard with universal dozer blades, which means a wide range of applications.

Husqvarna DXR 310.The DXR 310 demolition robot has a contemporary design and is packed with new technology and intelligent solutions. It sits on a strong, durable baseplate cast in a single piece, with integrated lifting hooks. It’s powerful despite its light weight, and compared to the competition it has more and better solutions for easy operation and service. Operation is particularly easy and convenient, thanks to the user-friendly, Bluetooth-operated remote control.

The remote control is mounted on a curved aluminium bar the operator wears over the shoulder, instead of a conventional strap. It makes operation more comfortable and ergonomic, and the control remains secure even when the operator moves around the site. The control box is equipped with a 3.5 inch colour display that is easy to read and uses industrial Blue tooth technology, an innovation for this type of machine.

The machines developed entirely by Husqvarna are the most powerful in their class. They are easy to operate, thanks to smart, functional design and innovative engineering and technology. They move quickly into position and are ready to start work without time-consuming preparation.

The DXR passes through all normal doorways since it’s just 78 cm wide. It also climbs stairs easily and operates on uneven surfaces or close to walls, due to the individually controlled out-riggers. Track widener facilitates transport on uneven surfaces.

The telescopic boom on the DXR 310 has a range of approximately 5.5 m including the breaker. It’s made of high-quality steel and can withstand high stresses.

The low height provides good view over the machine when you work, making operation both more efficient and safer as well as lowering the machine’s centre of gravity.

Husqvarna WS 482 HF.The new WS 482 HF has one of the market’s most powerful electric motors, delivering an impressive 19 kW at 32 A. The two-speed water-cooled gearbox produces a wide rpm range and has the capacity to handle blades with diameters up to 1600 mm. This makes the saw suitable for many different applications.

Husqvarna PP 480 HF.The new Husqvarna PP 480 HF is a powerful frequency converter, specially developed for use with the WS 482 HF. The PP 480 HF delivers quick, precise adjustment at every stage of the cutting process, and is operated by way of a wireless remote control. With a weight of just 23 kg it’s very easy to transport.

The radio remote control provides total control of the sawing process and excellent freedom of movement at the workplace.

The WS 482 HF has a newly developed two-speed gearbox combined with variable speed transmission, which allows the optimal speed to be set according to blade diameter, blade type and cutting material.

The saw is modular in design making it easy to hang on the wall and transport. It is possible to cut on both sides of the track. Its direction of rotation can be selected so that the water always sprays in the desired direction – irrespective of which side of the track you saw on.

The small distance between track and blade gives a straight cut with less wear on saw and blade.
