as hazardous air pollutants, are those

pollutants that are known or suspected to

cause cancer or other serious health effects,

Asbestos: Strong and fireproof silicate-

mineral fiber that becomes brittle ('friable')

with age, and pollutes air and water as

extremely fine particles that can cause

serious illnesses (such as 'asbestosis') and

cancer (such as mesothelioma). Asbestos isfound in certain acoustic ceiling tiles,

insulation, patching compounds, roofing

shingles, texture paints, vinyl flooring, and

some appliances such as irons. See also

Biological: Water quality has inspired

development of tests designed to measure

its suitability for drinking, bathing, and

release back to the environment. Water that

looks clear and pure may be contaminatedwith pathogenic microorganisms. Even water

that appears "pure" must be tested to ensure

that it contains no microorganisms that

might cause disease. On the other hand,

there are so many potential pathogens that it

is impractical to test for them all. Because of

this, tests have been developed for indicator

organisms. These are organisms that are

present in feces (or sewage), survive as longas pathogenic organisms, and are easy to test

for at relatively low cost

Restructuring:

A strategic plan for our businesses was

completed in FY11 after extensive

consultations and a detailed review of our

portfolio and organization structure. This planhas led to an organizational remodeling which

IV. Business Models & Pricing StrategyBusiness Models may vary upon volume of Samples and Analysis etc requested by clients.

Standard requirements are daily, weekly and monthly billing or individual invoices by sample

group.

The following Pricing strategy will apply: Billing and Rush Multipliers

1. 48 hours Turnaround Time 2.0 x price2. 24 hours Turnaround Time 3.0 x price3. Immediate to Same day Turnaround Time 4.0 x price4. Weekend Analysis 4.0 x price + $ X5. Holiday Analysis 4.0 x price + $ X

Travel, Sampling and Sample pick-up billed at an additional fixed price/hour.

We will provide and ship the appropriate sample supplies/containers by non-priority status to

clients within the continental United States at no charge. Clients requesting overnight delivery

of supplies and those outside the continental U.S. will be invoiced for the associated charges

when applicable. It is the clients responsibility to ensure proper sampling, packing, and return

shipping to the laboratory under proper storage/preservation conditions.

Billing by sample group is assumed unless otherwise requested. Billing terms are payable upon

receipt. Samples requiring rush turnaround time are usually advanced scheduled prior to

sample submission.
