You have put lots of efforts into creating your blog content or designing your blog and uploading your content into your blog.However, your taks is not done yet.So you should promote your blog as much as you can.I will give you some tips on how to promote your blog that increase blog traffic.

First of all Its necessary to understand for you to why is this important?

2) As we all know content is the king ,so content marketing is a fastest and great way building your brand via organic search.

Tip:- Add a Recent Blog Post section on your home page website which shows snippets of the recent blog post.

Hosting your blog on your website is not enough.You must build an authorship with Google+ profile .This way blog content is associated with you through a Google+ profile and Google can collect social signals from its own social media product (Google+). By doing this, you will be able to see author’s google+ profile picture and the number of Google+ circles they are in within organic search result results as shown below.

To get this rich snippet follow the below steps:

1) The author of your blog must have an account on Google+.2) Next, go to a Google+ Profile page.3) Click Edit profile.4) Scroll down on the page and click contributor to.5) Click Add custom Link.6) Click on the done editing.7) Copy the page URL at the top,as shown in the example below.

You can link your Google+ link profile URL to your blog content in the both cases.

If your blog has a single author:

a) At the bottom of the blog in the author’s bio, create a hyperlink to the author’s Google+ profile.

b) If you have a picture of the author,hyperlink the picture to their Google+ profile URL.c) Add the rel=author attribute to the anchor tag of the hyperlinked profile,as shown below:

If blog has multiple authors:

In this case, you would have to add rel=me tag to the anchor tag and connect it to the author bio page,as shown in the example below.

Then on the author bio page,use rel=author tag and link Author’s name to his/her google+ profile page,as shown earlier for single authors.

Use the Rich snippet testing tool to preview your blog’s search results and check if author details are shown.

Add social share buttons to your blog page.The button can be placed on the top or bottom of the blog that move as you scroll the page.And also make sure add share button that show the number of times the content has been shared .
