WHO ARE WE?
We are a close-knit, four-year private liberal arts college affi liated with the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our historic campus is located in the beautiful hills of southern Middle Tennessee in Pulaski, and over the last 144 years we have produced thousands of graduates who have gone on to shape the fabric of America and the world.
The highly respected MMC degree will take you anywhere you want to go. Our students have graduated to become infl uential educators, entrepreneurs, published authors, overseas mission workers, professional athletes, world-class musicians and even television stars… a small selection of what your future may hold.
With over 1,100 students, we are one of the fastest growing colleges in Tennessee.
Our average class size is 20 students, which drops to 7 when you start your major.
95% of our students graduate in only four years – that’s over a year less than the national average of 5.4 years.
Our faculty to student ratio is 16-1 – allowing you personal access to each and every faculty member in your program.
WAIT!WHAT EXACTLY IS “LIBERAL ARTS?”
IT MEANS WE TEACH A STANDARD
CURRICULUM THAT DEVELOPS COMMUNICATION
SKILLS, CRITICAL THINKING, PROBLEM SOLVING,
CREATIVITY, AND INNOVATION – ALL
VITAL SKILLS FOR A SUCCESSFUL AND
ENRICHED LIFE.

Our faculty’s primary focus is on teaching, not publishing or research – this means their undivided attention is on you.
Classes are taught by tenured and adjunct professors, not graduate students or assistants – you get the real deal.
Along with an outstanding standard curriculum, we provide a fl exible scheduling program.
Need help? Our faculty mentoring program gives you the one-on-one personal attention you deserve.
Our small class sizes get you engaged in classroom discussions – you’re not just a nameless face.
Develop real-world work experience before you even graduate by completing one of the many internships available.
Our distinguished W. Garie Taylor Honors Program will give you cultural enrichment, guest speakers, and the opportunity to travel abroad to research a junior or senior project.
Additionally, we offer even more study abroad opportunities to choose from which will open your eyes to the world.
You can stay close to home and participate in local service learning, fi nding out what it truly means to aid your community.
And, if you can’t fi nd a club to suit your needs, start your own and develop invaluable leadership and teamwork skills.
The bottom line: there are more opportunities at a small college than you could ever imagine. Let us surprise you.
OUR GRADS DO IT IN ONLY 4-YEARS, WHY IS THIS GREAT?
THE BENEFITS ARE ENDLESS. NOT ONLY
WILL YOU SAVE TIME AND MONEY, BUT
GRADUATING WITHIN A FOUR YEAR
WINDOW ALLOWS YOU START EARNING

According to a recent study by the Council of Independent Colleges, 93% of employers felt these traits are more important than a person’s undergraduate major. Who knew?

THIS IS A PRIVATE COLLEGE EDUCATION
Private colleges like Martin Methodist College work hard to help students and their families keep the price of college low and affordable. What you may not realize is that you are more than twice as likely to receive scholarships and grants at MMC than at a public institution.
Consider these important features:
The average institutional grant is three times larger at private colleges like MMC than at public universities.
96% of MMC’s students are receiving fi nancial aid in some form.
We can help you in the completion of your FAFSA due early January.
NOW, LET’S TALK
ABOUT MONEY…FACT: MMC IS AFFORDABLE. LAST YEAR WE AWARDED APPROXIMATELY $11 MILLION DOLLARS IN INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS. WE STRIVE TO MAKE PRIVATE COLLEGE ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE. DON’T BELIEVE IT? READ ON!
REMEMBER THESE BENEFITS WHEN YOU CONSIDER MARTIN METHODIST COLLEGE:
Like 95% of our graduates, you can graduate from MMC in only four years – which is 1 year, 4 months earlier than the State average. You’ll be working, earning a salary and enjoying your career instead of still studying.
There’s no pressure to choose your major in the fi rst year, and you’ll still graduate on time!
Find enrichment in small classes.
Receive free tutoring from at the Student Resource Center.
Benefi t from a personalized education and individual attention.
Earn a salary earlier than the average college student.
Make lasting friendships and enjoy everything our campus life has to offer – from simple get-togethers to clubs to athletics, it’s all here.
We have a residential experience you won’t want to miss out on.
Our commitment to service learning makes it easy for you to meet the 8 hours per semester of community service as required by the Tennessee Promise.
