The Fish and the Sparrow
The sparrow knew it was wrong, But to him it felt so right.
For he loved a fish, her colors so bright. She’d hold her breath at the top while he
sang her his song. And on land she would flop, and dance
along. Deeper and deeper they fell, and though
he soared the sky. He could see all. Only his beautiful fish caught his eye.
And when it was time to ask for her fin he hoped and hoped and prayed for the best. And after a while of course she agreed, but where oh where will they build their nest?
