Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Concept has been revealed at 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi It’s not just the all-new SX4 S-Cross Concept that has been hogging the limelight at Maruti Suzuki ’s exhibit at the on-going 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Indian automaker has revealed one more blockbuster concept called the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan that we reckon, will have the auto industry gawking for a very long time - especially since, the concept looks nothing like it was created by designers at the Indian company and even hints of some styling cues taken from BMW! The Ciaz Concept was earlier shown at the Shanghai Auto Show last year and was called the YL1 then. We expect to see the car in both the petrol and diesel variants when the concept is pushed down the production line. The petrol variant could be powered with the same 1.4-litre K-Series engine, which powered the Ertiga MUV and churns out 95PS of max power. The diesel variants could be housed with the 1.6-litre Multijet powerplant. The journey from Concept to production ready avatar is bound to mellow down the stunning looks of the Ciaz, which stands in front of us now. But we sure do hope the differences aren’t too huge. When ready to hit the market sometime later this year, the Ciaz sedan will compete with the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the Volkswagen Vento. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Concept has been revealed at2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi

It’s not just the all-new SX4 S-Cross Concept that has been hogging the limelight at Maruti Suzuki’s exhibit at the on-going 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi.

But we sure do hope the differences aren’ttoo huge.

When ready to hit the market sometime later this year, the Ciaz sedan will compete with the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the Volkswagen Vento.
