    For the week ending July 24, New Listings in the MRIS region

    were up a slight 1.6 percent over last year with 3,884 new

    properties coming onto the market.

    Pending Sales were up 2.9 percent to arrive at 2,470

    purchase agreements signed. For those sellers still waiting to

    get an offer, they can anticipate receiving 94.7 percent of

    their original list price and a market time of 73 days.

    The drop in year-over-year inventory continued last week,down 6.2 percent to 63,214 Active Listings for Sale. This

    downward trend has helped keep the Months Supply of

    Inventory balanced with demand at 6.4 months; however, it

    has been creeping up slowly over the past few months.
