The vacuum thus recreated is easily filled with the wrong information or just plain lies. These fabrications become compounded as they are repeated. Modern Anti-Masonry continue to misquote, to invent new rituals, site false sources and out and out fabrications.

The truth becomes a battered relic anytime one steps into the world of conspiracy theorists. Rules of logic are altered a sense of obsessive mistrust leaves modified facts that come astonishing conclusions that bear little or no resemblance to the truth.
